Kozak’s District Office Offering Free Veterans Assistance

January 6, 2025

BEAVER FALLS – State Rep. Roman Kozak (R-Beaver) announced his district office in Chippewa Township will be offering free assistance to veterans in the 14th Legislative District.

Appointments will be available with Stephanie Wilson, a department service officer with the American Legion, on the first Thursday and third Friday of each month. She will assist veterans with VA claims for disability compensation; disability increase and rating decision appeals; veteran or surviving spouse pension; burial and death benefits; addition of dependents; dependency and indemnity compensation; and other veteran benefits questions.

Appointments will also be available the first Thursday of each month with Tony Crowe, a veteran and resident of Beaver County who works as a veterans’ employment and training representative with the Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry. He can assist with resume building, job training, job search, interviewing skills, training grants, obtaining GED, retrieving military records, general VA benefit questions, emergency financial assistance, and housing or rent assistance through The Cornerstone of Beaver County (TCBC).

“Our veterans sacrifice so much during their service, and all of that sacrifice is rewarded with several well-deserved benefits when they return home,” Kozak said. “However, it’s not easy to know exactly which benefits each veteran is eligible to receive. That’s where Stephanie and Tony come in. They have done a lot of great work for area veterans, and I hope to continue that work in our district office moving forward.”

Any veterans interested in making an appointment can schedule one by calling 724-847-1352.
